Back in June I tore my ACL (or anterior cruciate ligament) while playing soccer. I finally had the replacement surgery but have been stuck in bed the past week; today I finally got out of my house had my stitches removed. I’d say the pain's been consistently horrible. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. I had no idea. I actually thought I was going to be able to get up for a couple hours of the day and do a load of laundry or some homework but that wasn’t possible. I barley made it to the bathroom. Today was a good day I’d have to say. My knee’s still throbbing but at least I finally get to take a shower!
…. The simple things people… I see it clearly at this moment. A shower and some fresh air is just enough.
